They each bring their A-game day in and day out and have truly fallen into these characters which we all have grown to love. Actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are both so amazing in these roles. The characters are pushed forward where everything ends up an excellent cliff-hanger, making you want to watch season eleven immediately. It's quite a lively and energetic season for sure that never lets up. There are also some good gimmicks with some of the episodes, including one where the use of social media goes a long way in solving a brutal case, or in the 200th episode where familiar faces appear on screen. There are also some overarching villains this time around with Rowena the witch (Ruth Connell), who seems to cause a bunch of headaches for Sam and Dean. The big story arcs here feature the Mark of Cain and the Blade, which have played roles in previous seasons as well, but come to a climax with this tenth season. It's highly entertaining and a lot of fun to watch, which brings us to season ten, which marks the 200th episode of the show. In addition to a new monster or case each week, there are some bigger and longer story arcs that fill each episode as well, giving the fans some much needed continuity, but the show also poked fun at itself and is very self aware, delivering inside jokes to long time fans of the series. 'Supernatural' combines wit, charm, comedy, and horror all into one series, where brothers Sam and Dean usually try to fight off evil monsters, witches, and ghouls each week. Much like 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Supernatural' has an excellent vibe and style in that it never takes itself too seriously. There is a huge following for this show with no signs of it letting up, which is probably due to the excellent characters and fun writing 'Supernatural' offers week in and week out. There are not a lot of shows out there like 'Supernatural' that have lasted this long, and for this show to be on for more than a decade now is truly a milestone in television.

I'm so happy that a television show like 'Supernatural' has had ten full seasons, with an eleventh season currently airing in a primetime slot.
